Abstract

Computational thinking (CT) merupakan keterampilan abad ke-21 yang semakin didorong masuk ke kurikulum sekolah, tetapi contoh pengintegrasiannya ke dalam pembelajaran IPA SMP di Indonesia masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan CT siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan model ORDE EXPEL (Orientasi, Demonstrasi, Eksplorasi, Presentasi, Evaluasi) berbantuan Micro:bit, serta respons siswa terhadap model tersebut. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini melibatkan 22 siswa kelas VII sebuah SMP di Semarang dalam dua proyek, yaitu pengukur kelembapan tanah dan penghitung langkah. Keterampilan CT diukur berdasarkan kerangka Brennan dan Resnick melalui lembar observasi untuk dimensi konsep dan praktik komputasi, angket untuk dimensi perspektif komputasi, dan tes pilihan ganda untuk pengetahuan CT. Hasil menunjukkan skor dimensi konsep komputasi 90,91 (sangat baik), praktik komputasi 83,50 (sangat baik), dan perspektif komputasi 93,64 (sangat positif). Rerata tes pengetahuan CT 81,36, dengan 77,3% siswa tuntas. Aspek terlemah adalah modularizing and abstracting (68,9), terutama dalam menulis kode yang ringkas. Skor konsep komputasi berkorelasi kuat dengan skor tes (rs = 0,81), sedangkan praktik komputasi berkorelasi sedang hingga kuat (rs = 0,68). Respons siswa terhadap model sangat positif (92,73). Model ORDE EXPEL berbantuan Micro:bit dapat diterapkan untuk mengembangkan dan memetakan keterampilan CT dalam pembelajaran IPA, dengan perhatian khusus pada latihan abstraksi.
